My Quest (10 Dec 2007)

My quest is to go and give some things to two families that their brother, mother, father or sister is in jail The first one was their brother in jail. And the second one was their son in a gang, and it was his second time. First he admitted that he was in the gang. His friend killed a person and ran to Thailand. Now he's in jail for the second time. 

Hope he's not going in for another time.

My plane (10 Dec 2007)

My plane is the Stuka. Last time, it was a very powerful bomber. It can't be stopped. But when they fought Great Britain, there were Spitfires defending their country. When they fought Russia, they used it for a tank bomber. One of the pilots killed 500 over tanks.

My Favourite Planes (10 Dec 2007)

My favourite plane is the Zero from Japan. My second favourite plane is the Stuka from Germany. Do you know why I like the Stuka? It is because in World War Two, a pilot has killed 565 tanks with a Stuka and that's why I like it.

My Mission (10 Dec 2007)

My mission is to find some needy people and give some gifts to them. On the first stop, we went to one family who has their brother in jail. 

On the next stop, we went to a family who has their brother in jail too. A woman said that her brother joined a gang and they fought and one guy got killed. So her brother went to call up the cops and said that one guy killed his friend.

He said that he joined a gang so he went to jail for three years. When he came out of jail, he joined a gang again and the cops found him and put him in jail for five years.

My Birthday (27 Nov 2007)

On my birthday, there were a lot of games. First, we had a game that there were 4 balls. You must throw the balls as close to the white line. The second one was pin Tom's tail. My brother got bulls eye. Next was the treasure hunt. And do you know who was the treasure? It was my father's mate. So it was my mother !!

My holidays (27 Nov 2007)

During the holidays, it's not so fun. My brother is very naughty. Whenever I am doing my own things like making my own deck, he will smell me. Every day, we must do some work to play ou XBOX 360 or playstation 2. We only can play for an hour. Sometimes we play metal slug or maybe star wars battlefront.

My Actual Birthday (5 Dec 2007)

When it was December fourth, it was my actual birthday! On my birthday, my father wanted to waste money on another cake.  And when we were in the house, my brother called my mother to play XBOS three sixty. She let us play for two hours instead of one hour.

My Dad ran a Marathon (5 Dec 2007)

When it was Sunday, my Dad ran a full marathon. It was 42 kilometers. First my mother, my brother and me walked to the MRT to take a train to City Hall. Then we walked to the Padang. Then we waited for so long that I wanted to go home. My Dad took 5 hours 28 minutes and 15 seconds.

Which fairy tale character will I like to be

I will like to be the ginger bread man. I like to be him because he is very funny. He is funny because he runs about and do not care about others and got eaten up by the fox.


Choose your fairy tale story and change its ending

I will choose the story about the ginger bread man. In the story, the ginger bread man was eaten up by the fox while crossing the river. In my story, the ginger bread man was squashed by an ugly man.


How will the prince rescue the princess

The princess changed into a bat by a wicked witch. She was sleeping one day when she fell from the tree and was wounded. The prince came along and found her. He carried the bat up and brought her to his castle. He took care of the bat for a few days and loved her so much and kissed the bat. To his surprise, the bat turned into an ugly but kind princess and they lived happily ever after.


Bullies in my van

The bullies in my van names are "S or J". When going to school they don't bully, when going home time, they start to bully. J likes to use foul language. S likes to scream into our ears. One day , S reserved all the seats in the van and made D, MH, N and me stand while the bus is moving. I am very scared to sit in the van because of the bulles.

How I behave well in school

I behave well in school because I treat it as my house. If other people don't behave well I will teach them how to behave well. Just like Ronald, Feroz and Naseer. That's how I win my prize.

If everything in my world is black

If everything in my world is black, I will shout "help" because I can't see. When I go to the breakfast table, I see a black bannana and a black bowl and I'll go crazy as a loon by eating black rice and black food with a spoon. Thats how I feel when everything in the world is black.


Brown

Brown reminds me of chocolate. Brown reminds me of brown paint. Brown reminds me of peanut butter when it's warm. Brown reminds me of doors and brown reminds me of the cover pg of the exercise book.


Should sea creatures be kept in captivity

I think animals should be kept in the wild. It is because if they are kept in the captivity, they have very little place to swim. But if they are in the wild, they can swim freely in the ocean.


What did I see at the Underwater World

I could see the stingray, Archer fish (but didn't do anything), arowana and starfish and others. I went with my teacher and my classmates. WHen we went to the toilet, we bought drinks. I had a fun time.


What is your favourite animal

My favourite animal is a dog. Do you know why a dog is my favourite animal? It is because when strangers come, they can bark and wake my family up and that's why a dog is my favourite animal. It can camouflage only when things are colours that look same as the gods colour.


What would I describe colour if I cannot see them

If I went colour blind, I will sleep up until almost forever because I want to dream how colours look like. I will dream as the sun is orange, the water is blue and the computer screen is black and so on. And that's how I dream about colours when I'm colour blind.


What is my favourite monster

My favourite monster is Locust from the game I lay from my Xbox 360. The game is "Gears of Wars". I like locust because they are very strong. They come from underground and want to attack Humans, but they are bad guys.

When monsters appear, I will feel scared but I will call my friends. But if my friends don't come, there will be no choice only to handle him myself. I will kick him out of the house myself.


If a monster is on my bed, how will I feel

If a monster is on my bed, I will feel brave. So I will kick him out of my bed and cal my mum. I will tell my mum to tackle him and he will be scared.


My favourite cartoon

My favourite cartoon us "Tom and Jerry". I like Tom and Jerry because Jerry always win Tom and it is very funny. They only show Tom and Jerry at 7.30 am, 1.30 pm and 9.00 pm. My brother and I enjoy watching Tom and Jerry.


How I celebrate my school holidays

I celebrate my school holiday by buying some duel master cards. On Saturdays, my father went jogging 4 hours and in the afternoon he slept for 4 hours also. I also enjoyed the rest of the days.

T3 (20 Nov 2007)

Yesterday, we went to T3 o eat some food. We took pictures of some nice places. We went to McDonald's to eat lunch. 

We went there with our cousin but we did not go there with our  mother because she was working. I like T3 alot. I wish to go there again.

Worst day (22 Nov 2007)

One day, my father asked me to do tiles, read a thick book (I don't like to read books) and he asked me to hunt some chinese words and the searching made my eyes pain. You asked me to do a card. I don' like to to this.

My Birthday (27 Nov 2007)

When it was my birthday, me and my brother invited some friends. When our friends came, we played some of our swords. My friend Andrew hit me on my eye but it was not bulls eye, it was very near my eye. We played very fun games. THE END

My house is very big. My tita (maid) says that my house is a mess. She is just kidding but doesn't scold me. My house has 3 levels. Outside my house is a gate. The gate is to block people from coming into my house. I like my house very much.

Every night, I will not always have one bad dream. I will sometimes have bad dreams when I laugh or watch a scary movie before I sleep or even read a book that is very scary before I sleep. I don't want to have bad dreams.

My dinner at Laguna
On Saturday,my cousin,uncle Andrew ,Prakit and my family went to laguna for dinner.Over there,they had a buffet. I like buffets because we can take our own food. We had a wonderful time.

What are the things I need to keep a pet
You must treat pets as animals at the zoo. You must give the pets water and food. If you don't give them water and food they will die. I wish I could keep a pet.

Should animals be kept in the zoo
Animals should be kpet in the zoo so the world is safe. If animals are not kept in the zoo then it will sometimes come into our house. The government is very clever that animals must be kept in the zoo.

My Scary Day (2 July 2007)
On day, at school I went out of my van, I saw a shadow, I creep quietly to it, although it was out of my school. It crept further away. I say many people outside, without care, I didn't want to know what was happening. I turn behind and the shadow vanished. I was very lucky, not long, a bus arrived. I told my friend, Nigel about it. My Bad Day (2 July 2007)
One day, I had high fever. I can't go to school, because when I cycled, I didn't stop. The temperature was 39.00. So I stayed at home. I wished I didn't plan that plan. I was very upset of myself. It was very boring at home. THE END

My Happy Day (28 July 2007)
One day, it was wet and rainy. I went to abacus class. After my abacus class, I went to the market. When I got there, I ate my breakfast. After that, my brother went to change his glasses. It was abut to go home. I went and buy my things. We went ome after that. When we reach home, we played playstation two. We normally get to play during Saturday and Friday only. It was a nice, cool day! THE END

We don't know why it is always raining. It may be global warming. I think we must not use too many plastic bags and recycling things. We must not chop down to many trees. If we don't do these things, it may snow ONE DAY!!!! THE END

Paying It Back (8 Aug 2007)
There was once a dog called Mack. It was very tame. Everybody was very fond of him. There was a goldfish named Rudolf. Oneday, there was no water. The owners of the dog were out. Only Rudolf's bowl was filled with water. Mack's bowl was empty. Mack would die if he didn't get a drink. Rudolf kindly said, "Have a drink from my bowl, but don't finish it off." "Ok." Mack said. Mack said "I'll pay it back." "Dogs don't help goldfish!" said Rudolf. One day it was a stormy night. Rudolf got scared and jumped out of its bowl. Mack quickly got up the table and barked "WUFF WUFF!" The owners heard it and ran to the living room and put Rudolf back in its bowl. "I told you so." said Mack.

My Naughty Brother (4 Sept 2007)
Every day, my brother will choose what to play. When I do not like it, I still accept. But when it's my turn, do you know what he does? You're correct. He will not accept it. And do you know what he will do? That's right! He will say, "It's my choice!" I know he is correct, but you know sometimes we find it like a hard time. And sometimes, he smells me. I need to fight back.

My Favourite Food (4 Sept 2007)
My favourite food is pasta. I like pasta because pasta can have pesto. My family and I only eat pasta sometimes. I don't know what is my favourite pasta yet. I think it is in the airport. I keep dreaming that I can eat pasta every day.

My family (26 March 2007)
In my family, there are four family members. I have one brother and his name is David.

Every Saturday and Friday, my parents allow me to play PS2 or computer games for two hours. My brother and I play deul masters every morning.

My mother and father goes to work every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They come back at night. Then they do with me my homework. After they play with me. Then after, they play with me. Then they put me and my brother to bed. I love my family very much.


Good Friday
I like Good Friday becasue it's when Jesus died on the cross. He died because the Roman soldiers nailed him to the cross. Then soon he died. He died for our sins.

So that is why I like Good Friday.


My weekend (18 April 2007)
On Saturday, I went to my cousin's house. They live at Florida condominium in Hougang. We went there to celebrate my cousin Shannon's birthday. He is eight years old. I swam with my cousins at the swimming pool and we had a good time. We had a barbeque by the pool. THen we went and play PS2 games.

My swimming lesson
I like swimming because my coach teaches me a lot of things. My coach is Gerald. He teaches me piano technic, frog style, freestyle and bubbling.

I like swimming very much.


My home (4 May 2007)
I live at Sea Breeze Ave. My house is three storeys high.

My bedroom is on the second floor. I share my bedroom with my brother. There is a small garden in front of my house.

I like my house very much.


My church
I like my church becasue I can pray to Jesus with my friends. I can do activities like colouring, writing and drawing. My church name is Pentecost Methodist Church. I like all the activities there. I like my church very much.


My favourite yo-stock
I like my yo-stick becuase it can swing aroudn like a yo-yo. You can do a lot of tricks. The tricks that you can do is eye spy, red bridge and lots more. When you do the tricks, the light will flash on. You can use a string to catch hold of it. My yo-stock is blue in colour.


My favourite insect (13 May 2007)
My favourite insect is the stink bug. I like the stink bug because it can emit smelly gas. It emits smellg gas when it is disturbed. This is how the stink bug protects itself.

You can find stink bugs in the forest or jungle. It is about the same size as the cockroach but is is more smelly. Parents do not allow children to keep stinkbugs as pets.


My favourite food
My favourite food is chicken. I like chicken because it has a lot of meat. There is chicken wings and chicken drumstick. Chicken wing is like a flat top on the tip, that's where you find the meat. Chicken drumstick is like a big round thing on its head.


The Play
I like the Play because it is funny. My favourite character is Mr White rabbit. I like him becasues it can say "I'm late." He always like to carry a pocket watch all the time.


Lost in the shopping centre (June 2007)
One day, I went shopping with my father and brother. We went to Toys'r'us at Tampines Mall. While we were shopping, we were separated from my father.

I began to panic. But then, I found my brother. Then we went to look for my father. We found our father.


My trip to Bintan (June 2007)
I went to Bintan with my family, grandparents and my cousin, Shannon. I took a ferry to go to Bintan. I swam in the pool and played water polo.

I went to the beach and play in the waves. The water was so clear that I saw small guppies and a crab. I even drove a buggy with my father. I like Bintan.




My trip to Phuket (June 2007)
I got to Phuket by an aeroplane. We stayed in Allamanda. We ate good meals over there.

On Sunday my Dad ran the half marathon and it was 21 km. When he came back he got a medal. We had a fun time in Phuket.



My Bad Dream
One day I had a bad dream. My bad dream was an evil girl came into my house and went into my brain and scared my dreams away. After the evil girl scared away my dreams, the dreams were skeletons and ghosts all over Singapore and spread to Bintan, Phuket and every part of the world and then I woke up then I thought it was real but it was only a bad dream.


My favourite TV game
My favourite TV game is Star Wars Battlefront. It is a game I always paly on my Play Station 2. It is a fun game. I always play it with my brother. You can choose your mission and play it. I only play it on friday and saturday after I finish my homework.


My trip to the zoo (July 2007)
I went to the zoo on friday with my class. We saw three rhinocerous dung is very smelly. We saw snakes, girraffe, polar bear and mouseedear and many more animals. I had a great time.


My favourite day (July 2007)
My favourite day is Saturday. I like Saturday because it is a holiday and my brother and I can play PS2. After playing PS2 is naping time. After naping is when I have tuition. Thats why saturday is my favourite day.


My bossy mother (July 2007)
My bossy mother is very bossy. When my brother and I are watching TV she always say go to the toilet. She also do some other things like scholding my father when he plays PS2.


My travelling father (July 2007)
My travelling father always like to travel. He goes to Phuket, Bintan and Germany. He also bring us to some countries but not others. I also like to travel.

Phuket Half Marathon: June 17, 2007

About 3000 runners registered for the Phuket marathon races. About 400+ runners took part in the half marathon.

The run started at 6 am (7 am Sin time). It rained quite heavily from the start, and though the rain stopped after about 5 k, we were all well drenched. It was a good thing I had a practice run in the rain.

As advocated in some mags, I paced a female SAFRA runner for about 7k to the village, then another Thai runner to 9k turn around. Took a gel at 8k, and stepped up the pace a little. Clocked 10k @1:02, which was a good time. Weather was cool and comfortable. Didn't trust the ice in the water, so I relied mainly on my endurance drink and sweets.

Encountered two slopes at about 15k, and I was glad I trained on hills last week. Didn't stop to walk. The feeling of passing earlier runners at this stage is a good one. Downed my second gel at 16k.

For the last 5k, I was trailing an older runner (60+?). Overtook him, but he caught up and ended strong.

I was glad when the run came to Allamanda. Waved to Ruf and kids! Apparently, they thought they missed me and waited for about an hour!

The last portion was via the Wedding chapel through the canal village. Cramps starting coming in during the last k, but I thought I had a decent chance to finish at 2:07 or so.

My own net time at finish was 2:08, although the official time was 2:09.18. Great conditions, and I didn't really feel tired.
Ave HB 161, max 188.

Some full marathon runners came in at about 6 hours. Guess there is hope for me.

Felt a strong sense of accomplishment, unlike the first half back in December (2:15). Looking forward to the army half in August and full in December. :)

Duringthe March school holidays, my cousins and I went to Jurong bird park. My family and I went swimming on Thursday. I like swimming.



31 May 2007: Bad Dreams

Every night, I would have at least one bad dream. The bad dream will be very very very very SCARY. I would not boter about these dreams. I will dream aboout good dreams.



24 June 2007: My Dad ran a Marathon

We visited Phuket to watch my Dad run a Phuket marathon. My Dad ran the half marathon which was 21 kilometers.

It was a good weather. We saw a man that dressed like a samurai. He was very lucky that the weather was not a sunny day.















24 June 2007: My Trip to Bintan

I, my family and my cousin, Shannon, went to Bintan. We took a ferry to Bintan. In Bintan, we took a buggy to our villa.

In the villa, it has 4 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 2 televisions and 2 storeys. I played water polo, soccer and play in the waves.
