Temasek Primary School organizes the Colours of Life event this year at the East Coast Park (close to car park F2). The theme is Environment, with Speaker of Parliament Abdullah Tarmugi as the GoH.
The event started off with 30 minutes of exercise to get students and parents warmed up. After the welcome speeches and customary awards of appreciation, students went off by level for their respective activities. The P5 and P6 students had to sweep the beach and park for litter... this is after all in line with the environmental theme.
The P1 and P2 students were fortunate. They were treated to a ventriloquist show and had a drawing contest. The subject was My Dream Park. Each student had a piece of black paper that revealed colourful patterns underneath when scratched. There was a guess the number of causarina nuts in a bottle contest.
Best of all, was the impromptu soccer session the kids had after the official activities ended. D & E said they enjoyed this outing.
